ALWAYS GILDA Fundraiser at ARCADE COMEDY THEATER: All-Female Comedy Cabaret benefitting Gilda's Club of Western PA; June 28th, 2013

A Comedy Fundraiser for
Gilda's Club Western PA

Arcade Comedy Theater is teaming up with Gilda's Club Western Pennsylvania for a fundraiser in celebration of Gilda Radner's birthday! Friday, June 28 at 8pm and 10pm, the Arcade presents Always Gilda, an all-female comedy show featuring some of the funniest women in the city. Best of all: 100% of the proceeds from both shows will be donated to Gilda's Club!



Both shows will feature sketch comedy from Frankly Scarlett, music from Camelia Road, improv from members of troupes all across the city, songs from Missy Moreno, a monologue by ActClassy.com humorist Gayle Pazerski Stephenson and more. The 10pm show also features a headlining stand-up comedy set by Gab Bonesso, who has been named one of the best local comics by Pittsburgh Magazine. The evening will also feature other opportunities for people to donate to Gilda's Club Western PA and support this worthwhile and important organization. And don't forget, shows at Arcade Comedy Theater are BYOB.

No, REALLY Standup Comedy at Hambone's: June 22, 2013


2 nights, 2 cities, 1 group of funny guys ranting about life the universe and cat sex. Solomon, Derek Minto, Travis Walling, Ray Zawodni, Ed Bailey, Tim Ross, Zach Funk are leaving Pittsburgh to do the first ever comedy show at Heart and Sole on Coventry in Cleveland. Arcade Celebrates Pride Week

Four Days of Comedy!

As Liberty Avenue fills with support for the LGBT community this weekend, Arcade Comedy Theater will open its doors to offer affordable, high quality comedy each night. Starting with a kick-off party on Thursday at 8pm, the Arcade will continue with three more days featuring improv comedy, sketch, music, and stand-up by LGBT performers—and a few of their allies. Shows are Friday and Saturday at 8pm & 10pm, along with a Sunday all-ages matinee at 3pm.

Kick-off show featuring Player One improv, comedian Mike Buzzelli, and monologist Dave Ranallo.
FRIDAY 6/14 8&10PM
A night of variety with musician Phoebe Armstrong, Player One improv,

SATURDAY 6/15 8PM
“Friends of Dorothy,” a sketch comedy and musical cabaret

If you want to take in all of the Pride comedy happening at the Arcade this weekend, we’ll be selling a special Pride Pass at our Thursday night show! The pass, which is $40, gets you admission to all of our shows this weekend and saves you $15 (it includes admission to Thursday’s show too). Patrons can also visit There Ultra Lounge (931 Liberty) to get a 6-pack of beer and BYOB is free!

Arcade Comedy Theater Class Registration end Friday, June 7th 2013


Class Registration Ends Friday

In case you haven't heard, registration for our comedy classes was extended a week! But we're out of quarters, so the registration period for our June classes ends this Friday, June 7.

We still have some slots left for
Intro to Sketch Comedy Writing, Intro to Stand-Up Comedy, Improv Two: Short Form, and our 4-week mini course Sing Yo Soul: Intro to Musical Improv.

The Arcade is also offering a very limited number of internship opportunities. Interns get to take classes for free or at a discount while also working at Arcade on the weekends or as part of our street team. For information on internship availability, e-mail
