Marcellus Shale drillers are hard at work trying to convince us about the safety of the "fracking" process. The anti-drilling activists (or Fracktivists) are mobilizing as well. Toxic chemicals used in the fracking process can end up polluting the ground water. To me this is too high a price to pay for job creation. Coal is dirty enough, now we have to deal with fracking fluid.

Everyone is talking about how the collapse of the European economy will affect the U.S. economy. I hope they can right themselves. We're not really in a position to help out.
