The recent killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen, has raised some questions about the war on terror and how it should be applied to those born in this country. While I have no issue with targeting known al-Qaeda terrorists, I do have a problem with using drones for bombing runs that kill innocent people. I also have a problem with giving all our money to the people who are really hurting us.

Ken Burns' "Prohibition" documentary aired this week on PBS. I couldn't help but be reminded of how far we've come ... and yet, with the LCB, how far we still have to go.
