City Councilwoman Theresa Kail-Smith is proposing legislation to restrict how strip clubs in the city operate. This strikes me as strange and puritanical. Strip clubs may not be everyone's idea of good business neighbors, but this kind of legislation sets a bad precedent. It would be wrong to begin restricting legal businesses just because they make some of us uncomfortable.
